Wild Lessons connects the community with nature and wildlife by providing indoor and outdoor programs for those interested in marine biology, animal adaptations, and conservation. With more than 30 years of environmental education, the team travels along the Northeast Florida coast, teaching individuals and groups preservation techniques in the natural world.
Indoor programs for adults feature lecture-style presentations, while programs for children include more hands-on learning activities. These classes are set up in various locations—community centers, schools, libraries, and churches. Outdoor programs—for families and adults—offer guided beach walks. Additional locations include boats and parks.
Customize your own program by requesting discussion topics, indoor or outdoor preference, and learning styles (lectures, guided walks, or interpretive sails).
All public and private programs focus on marine science topics, such as bottlenose dolphins, North Atlantic right whales, and conservation.
