Active since 1974 and celebrated for classics like “Mediterranean Sundance/Rio Ancho” and “Beyond the Mirage,” Al Di Meola masterfully blends jazz, world music, and fusion into a distinctive sound that has captivated audiences for decades. Launching his solo career in 1976 with Columbia Records, Di Meola quickly earned recognition as a true guitar virtuoso and continues engaging more than 200,000 listeners across Spotify and other streaming platforms.

A prolific composer and bandleader, Di Meola collaborated with some of the world’s greatest musicians, including John McLaughlin, Paco de Lucía, Chick Corea, Stanley Clarke, Jean-Luc Ponty, Jan Hammer, Steve Gadd, and Steve Winwood. Among his many honors, Di Meola is a Grammy Award winner, an inductee into Guitar Player’s “Gallery of the Greats,” and a recipient of the BBC Jazz Awards’ Lifetime Achievement Award.

Local Box Office: As of August 1, 2025, the Ponte Vedra Concert Hall box office is open from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., seven days a week, and they sell tickets to performances at PVCH and the St. Augustine Amphitheatre. You can also purchase tickets for shows at both venues at the St. Augustine Amphitheatre box office on Anastasia Island, 1340 A1A South in St. Augustine, Florida 32080.
