Improv Basics: a Six-Week Class for Grown-Ups

The ArtBox and The Adventure Project will host an improv class on Wednesdays, October 13 to November 17, 2021.
The course, Improv Basics: a Six-Week Improv Theater Class for Grown-ups, is designed to build self-confidence and explore creativity using the fundamentals of improvisation. The class will expose students to:
- Being and reacting in the moment
- Accepting and building on gifts from team members
- Embracing and using failure
- Co-creating with other students
- Improving communications skills
- Thriving in an unscripted environment
At the end of the six weeks, students will have a working understanding of the basic fundamentals of improvisational theater as well as an increased appreciation, and comfort with, being on stage (and in life) without a script.

Where: The ArtBox is located at 137 King St. in historic downtown. Free parking is available behind the building.
