Improv Basics: a Six-Week Class for Grown-Ups

Monday, April 18 - May 23, 2022 | 6:30 to 9 p.m.

The Adventure Project will host a six-week improv comedy class for grown-ups on Mondays in April and May 2022.

  • The Adventure Project will host an improv class on Mondays, April 18 to May 23, 2022.

    The course, Improv Basics: a Six-Week Improv Theater Class for Grown-ups, is designed to build self-confidence and explore creativity using the fundamentals of improvisation. The class will expose students to:

    • Being and reacting in the moment
    • Accepting and building on gifts from team members
    • Embracing and using failure
    • Co-creating with other students
    • Improving communications skills
    • Thriving in an unscripted environment

    At the end of the six weeks, students will have a working understanding of the basic fundamentals of improvisational theater as well as an increased appreciation, and comfort with, being on stage (and in life) without a script.

    Where: Now and Zen Studio is located at 224 San Marco Ave. Free parking is available in front of the studio.
