The Adventure Project hosts a Level 1 improv class, at Third Space Improv, on Tuesday, March 19 to Tuesday, March 23, 2024.
The course, Improv Basics: a Six-Week Improv Class for Grown-ups, is designed to build self-confidence and explore creativity using the fundamentals of improvisation. The class will expose students to:
- Being and responding in the moment
- Accepting and building on gifts from team members
- Embracing and using failure
- Co-creating and collaborating with other students
- Improving communications skills
- Thriving in an unscripted environment
At the end of the six weeks, students will have a working understanding of the basic fundamentals of improvisational theatre as well as an increased appreciation, and comfort with, being on stage (and in life) without a script.
