On Friday and Saturday, May 22 and 23, 2026, St. Augustine's newest theatre company presents Shakespeare's Much Ado About Nothing. Both performances begin at 7:00 p.m. at the St. Augustine Waterworks.
The Production
All the Devils Shakespeare reprises their production of Shakespeare's Much Ado About Nothing. This sharp and witty comedy about two sets of potential lovers includes fast-paced dialogue between Benedict and Beatrice, two sharp-tongued acquaintances who are tricked into expressing their love for each other. Meanwhile, Claudio and Hero's happy ever after is nearly scuttled by the villain's lies and cheap tricks.

The name is from a line from The Tempest: “Hell is empty, and all the devils are here.”
Several actors and artists formed this St. Augustine nonprofit theater organization in 2025. The group offers classical professional theater to the public. They choose timeless plays that exude passion, ambition, love, wit, redemption, betrayal, and hope. To fulfill their goal of reaching out to the community, the organization presents their productions in several locations in Northeast Florida, including at the Waterworks in St. Augustine.
