Ancient City Poets Spotlight

Ancient City Poets and Spinster Abbott's present a special poetry night on Saturday, September 12, 2026, from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. The event is presented as part of the Sing Out Loud music festival.

Chris Bodor, poet and founder of Ancient City Poets, serves as the MC for the evening. The program starts at 7:00 p.m. and features nine Ancient City Poets of varying experience, each sharing selections of their poetry:

At 8:00 p.m., Bodor hosts a Community Open Mic. Poets may sign up for the open mic beginning at 6:30 p.m

The Ancient City Poets was founded in 2009 by poet Chris Bodor, the editor-in-chief of the literary journal A.C. PAPA. (Ancient City Poets, Authors, Photographers, and Artists)
