The Ponte Vedra Concert Hall presents Canadian folk singer/songwriter Bruce Cockburn on Friday, November 6, 2026, at 8:00 p.m. Doors open at 7:00 p.m.
Active since 1967, Canadian Music Hall of Famer Bruce Cockburn is renowned for songs like “Wondering Where the Lions Are,” “Lovers in a Dangerous Time,” “Pacing the Cage,” and “Last Night of the World.” His music reflects a deep engagement with spirituality, politics, and cultural diversity.
Blending folk, jazz, rock, and worldbeat influences, Cockburn has drawn inspiration from travels to remote regions such as Mali, Mozambique, Nepal, and Guatemala. An accomplished guitarist on both acoustic and electric instruments, Cockburn is widely regarded as one of Canada’s most respected musicians.
Beyond his artistry, he has been a passionate advocate for numerous causes, including Indigenous rights and environmental protection. Cockburn's accolades include being honored with 12 JUNO Awards, membership in the Canadian Music Hall of Fame, and a Governor General's Performing Arts award.
