The historic Ximenez-Fatio House and Museum announces celebrations for the seasons and the United States of America's 250th birthday. Beginning in September, the Ximenez-Fatio House Museum hosts several events celebrating St. Augustine's and our country's history.

September 5 and 6, 2025—The celebrations start with a festival on the nation's oldest street. The Aviles Street Festival celebrates St. Augustine's Founder's Day and Spanish Heritage Month with Spanish foods, Flamenco dancing, art, music, sword play, and history. Held along several blocks of Aviles Street, the festival includes the many art galleries and historic properties on the street.

September 20, 2025—Spanish Heritage Month continues with a book festival at the Ximenez Fatio House. The third annual St. Augustine Heritage Book Festival features 15 local authors who have written non-fiction or fiction books about St. Augustine from the time the Timucua walked the lands up to 1850.

October 3 to October 31, 2025—A special candlelight tour of the Ximenez-Fatio House Museum, Mortality and Mourning:  Women in Black, focuses on grieving and funeral culture and the impact women had on the process in the 1800s.

October 25, 2025—The museum hosts their fifth annual Trick or Treat Fall Festival from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. Bring your costumed youngsters for a safe afternoon of trick-or-treating at most of the property's windows and doors.

November 15, 2025, to January 11, 2026—A Nights of Lights salute to the nation's upcoming 250th birthday. Fourteen artists create seasonal and celebratory decorations for 14 fireplace mantles in the Ximenez-Fatio House and Museum.

2025—Watch for more information about the events and exhibits at the Ximenez-Fatio House and Museum highlighting Florida's impact on U.S. history before and during the American Revolution.
