The historic Ximenez-Fatio House and Museum announces celebrations for the seasons and the United States of America's 250th birthday. Throughout the fall and winter of 2026, the Ximenez-Fatio House Museum hosts several events celebrating St. Augustine's and our country's history.

September 5, 2026, from 4:00 to 9:00 p.m.—Enjoy an historic celebration with a festival on the nation's oldest street. The Aviles Street Festival celebrates St. Augustine's Founder's Day and Spanish Heritage Month with Spanish foods, Flamenco dancing, art, music, sword play, and history. Held along several blocks of Aviles Street, the festival includes the many art galleries and historic properties located on the street.

October 2 to October 31, 2026—A special candlelight tour of the Ximenez-Fatio House Museum, Mortality and Mourning:  Women in Black, focuses on grieving and funeral culture and the impact women had on the process in the 1800s.
