EstuSCARY Haunted Trail

The Guana Tolomato Matanzas National Estuarine Research Reserve (GTMNERR) hosts the EstuSCARY Haunted Trail from Thursday, October 29, through Saturday, October 31, 2025. This spooky adventure promises scares, surprises, and Halloween fun as you walk through the haunted South Beach Hammock Trail in Ponte Vedra Beach.

The trail is open from 7:00 to 9:30 p.m. both nights. Register online in advance for $20.00 or pay $30.00 at the gate (cash only).

Dress in weather-appropriate attire for an outdoor walk, and closed-toed shoes are recommended. Parking is available at the South Beach lot. 

The trail is scary fun, and may not be appropriate for young children.

• Pay $30.00 at the gate (cash only). 

When: Thursday, October 29, Friday, October 30, and Saturday, October 31, 2026. The event lasts from 7:00 to 9:30 p.m. Your tickets will be for a select time.

Where: South Beach Hammock Trail starts at the parking lot for the South Beach Access GTM Research Reserve, between 1798 and 2200 Ponte Vedra Blvd, Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida 32084. (See below.)

A note about getting there: The parking lot entrance is south of the 2200 Ponte Vedra Boulevard Google address. South Beach Hammock Trail at the South Beach Access Parking Lot is listed as 1798 Ponte Vedra Blvd., but is actually north of that address and south of the pedestrian crossover.
