Starting his career as a drummer in the 1970s, blues, country, and rock sensation, Coco Montoya, switched his style and his instrument by playing the guitar under the instruction of Albert Collins.
Rocking the house in Los Angeles and then joining the Blues Breakers, Montoya worked on albums such as Gotta Mind to Travel, Ya Think I'd Know Better, Just Let Go, Suspicion, Can't Look Back, Dirty Deal, The Essential Coco Montoya, I Want it All Back, and his most recent album, Coming In Hot.
