Florida Water Warriors: Family Fun Summer Bash

The Marlin Club will host a Family Fun Summer Bash at 4 p.m. July 31, 2021, at Camachee Cove Yacht Harbor. 

This fundraiser for Florida Water Warriors is a family friendly event and will include kids activities, food truck, vendors and beverages. 

From 5:00 to 6:30 p.m., singer-songwriter Michael Jordan will perform original material ranging from nitty gritty southern rock sound, to delta blues to Americana folk with some works sounding hymnal. There is no genre stone that has not been turned by Michael Jordan, as he defies the norm of solo singer-songwriters and even more so, guitarists. 

In addition, the Blue Lotus dancers will perform as mermaids, and Captain Mayhem will bring his pirate magic act to delight all who attend.

As part of their fundraiser, a raffle will be held for a variety of prizes, including two guitars — one signed by Shawn Mendes and one sign by Dark Star Orchestra.  

Eco-exploration activities for the whole family will provide insights on St. Augustine waterways and ecosystems. All proceeds from the event will go to Florida Water Warriors, a nonprofit organization in St. Johns County that provides educational cruises that foster stewardship, understanding and appreciation for the natural beauty in Northeast Florida with an emphasis on the responsibility to protect it.

Admission:  Free. There will be raffles and fundraisers for Florida Water Warriors.
