Aberdeen Amenity Center hosts the First Coast Kids Swim Run Race on Sunday, August 23, 2026, at 9:00 a.m.

As part of the esteemed Florida Race Day Kids Triathlon/Duathlon Series, this event invites kids ages 6 to 14 to showcase their athleticism. During this event, participants showcase their swimming prowess by completing laps in the pool, followed by a thrilling run to the finish line. To ensure accuracy and fairness, the event is chip-timed, providing each participant with an official finisher's time.

Before the race kicks off, there's a comprehensive course briefing at 8:30 a.m., ensuring both parents and athletes are well-prepared for the excitement ahead. Please note that spaces are limited, so early registration is recommended to secure your child's spot in this year's event.

The event is organized by age group.

  • Ages 6 to 8: Swim 50 yards, run approximately 0.5 miles
  • Ages 9 to 11: Swim 100 yards, run approximately 1.0 miles
  • Ages 12 to 14: Swim 150 yards, run approximately 1.5 miles

Every participant receives a commemorative race t-shirt, a Florida Race Day finisher medal, and access to professionally captured race photos. Awards are given to the top three male and female finishers in each age category. Please bring your refillable water bottle—there are refilling stations.
