(904) 209-0333 The St. Johns County Parks Department will host Fishing 101: A Bait Lesson, at 603 Euclid Avenue at the Usina Boat Ramp in Vilano Beach on Wednesday, March 1, 2023, from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.
Guests (ages 10 and up) will learn about all the essentials of baiting, which includes:
- Live, frozen, and synthetic bait.
- What baits to use, and when to use them.
- How to properly put bait on a hook.
The event is $12.00, please register to reserve a spot. Participants are required to have a Saltwater Shoreline License. For more information, visit the St. Johns County recreation FAQ.
