Flagler College Communications Week 2014
Featured speakers and professionals from the communication industry visit Flagler College to offer students insight and to help them jump start their careers.
Flagler College Communications Week will feature speakers from a variety of communication industries including advertising, public relations, journalism, and film. This year's Communication Week keynote speaker will be Vice-President and Senior Editorial Director of CNN, Richard Griffiths.
2014 Communications Week will be themed "Jump Start: YOU." The various speakers and visitors to Flagler College campus will offer students advice and first-hand experiences from the communication industry and share their knowledge to help students learn how to jump start their careers in communication.
Other featured speakers at this year's Communication Week include Brian Fuhrer, senior vice-president for National and Cross-Platform Products at Nielsen; Patricia Cocca, knowledge management coordinator of the Global Environment Facility of The World Bank; Cindy Hill and Cara Pilson, associate teaching professors of Communication and associate directors of the Documentary Film Program at Wake Forest University; John Ludwig, CEO and founder of PUSH Advertising in Orlando; and Paul Johnson, president of Strategic Partnerships LLC and president and CEO of SP Consulting.
Communication Week also features a local filmmaker's panel as well as an alumni panel comprised of Flagler College graduates who have excelled in different areas of the communication field. Flagler College Communication Week is an annual event that offers students the chance to hear from industry professionals. This event is held on campus.
