Revitalize Historic Patalaka hosts the annual Florida Azalea Festival in downtown Palatka on Saturday, February 28, 2026, from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., and Sunday, March 1, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
In addition to the Azalea Festival, the Palatka Chamber of Commerce hosts the Bass Masters Elite Series 2026 kick-off event.
The Florida Azalea Festival is one of the longest-running festivals celebrated in Florida. This two-day, pet-friendly outdoor festival includes entertainment on two stages, five blocks of vendors, and—of course—azaleas in bloom. The winners of the 2026 Azalea Scholarship Pageant will be present at the festival. Throughout the festival, there will be live music on two stages: at the City Dock and the Courthouse.
The Florida Azalea Festival is an ideal family event, with special kids activities at a kiddy carnival, including face painting, games, and arts and crafts. Visitors can browse various vendors, including downtown businesses/restaurants, food vendors, and local arts and crafts. You can purchase an azalea plant as a living souvenir from the festival.
Pets aren't just allowed—they're encouraged! Pets in costume are a traditional part of the Azalea Festival.
