Ancient City Chili Classic

Taste Test, Vendor Market, and Music

Gather & Glow Events and The Carriage House join together to host a community chili competition featuring local restaurants and stand-alone entries on Sunday, December 13, 2026, from 12:00 to 5:00 p.m.

Sample all the best chili as restaurants battle for the title of Best Chili in Northeast Florida. Winners will receive recognition in a local publication and a trophy. Individuals may also participate for the Best Home-Cooked Chili in Northeast Florida award—first, second, and third place prizes.

Complement your sample chili with some cold beverages (beer and whiskey) and light bites. A vendor market will be open for some light shopping—woodwork, handcrafted jewelry, baked goods, cocktail accessories, leather, spices, and hot sauces. Bluegrass music will play throughout the event.

Attendees may vote for the People's Choice award, and a panel of judges will also vote for the Best of Show winners.

Admission: $23.50 per person. Kids five to 12 years old are $12.00. Seniors are $19.50. Purchase your tickets in advance.
