GTM Guided Beach Exploration
Third Saturday of the month | 9:00 – 11:00 a.m. at South Beach Parking Lot-Guana Reserve
The Guana Tolomato Matanzas National Estuarine Research Reserve (GTMNERR) hosts a Guided Beach Exploration at Guana South Beach in Ponte Vedra Beach on the third Saturday of each month.
This two-hour guided beach hike takes participants through the Guana South Beach location and teaches them all about the various species of animals and plants that call the beach home.
After the walk, guests can visit the Visitor Center at the GTM Research Reserve or enjoy the many miles of trails at the reserve. The Center is located at 505 Guana River Road in Ponte Vedra Beach.
Admission: The guided tour is free, but there is a $3 per vehicle parking fee. Visit here for the GTM calendar and choose the desired date to reserve a spot on the tour. Advanced online registrations are required.
