St. Johns County Parks & Recreation presents the Pink Ribbon Walk on Saturday, October 14, 2023. The event will take place from 6:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at two locations: W.E. Harris Community Center or Al Wilke Park.

This event honors individuals who are battling, have battled, or will battle breast cancer. It aims to raise awareness about the disease and to accept donations that will be channeled into furthering research and public service efforts focused on breast cancer. Participants in this event lace up to walk in honor of dear friends and family, improving their personal health while making strides toward a healthier community. Walking together, the St. Johns County community becomes more informed and better equipped to fight against breast cancer.

Walkers are encouraged to wear pink. For more information on this event and how to make donations, contact Stephen Lightfoot at (904) 209-0373.

Admission: Free. Donations appreciated.

When: Participants are welcome to walk any time from 6:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 14, 2023.

Where: This event has two locations. Participants are welcome to walk at either the W.E. Harris Community Center located at 400 East Harris Street in Hastings, Florida, or the Al Wilke Park, located at 6140 S. Main Street in Hastings, Florida.
