About The Haunted Barbour House

The Haunted Barbour House, in the West King area, has long been known for the paranormal phenomena, documented in The House, a book by June Moore Ferrell. This three-story Victorian with a Mansard roof was completed in the 1900s, and at least one family who lived there endured great tragedy, horrific crimes, and a murder. June and Edward Ferrell bought the run-down mansion in the 1950s and restored it, and June eventually wrote her book about the property. The book is now out of print, but the stories live on.
