Hayes Carll has an impressive list of accomplishments, including winning the Americana Music Association Award for Song of the Year for "She Left Me for Jesus," a track from his 2008 album Trouble in Mind. His follow-up album, KMAG YOYO, was the most played album on the Americana Chart in 2011 and included the hit "Chances Are," which earned Lee Ann Womack a nomination for a "Best Country Song" Grammy for her version of the tune. Carll's 2016 Lovers and Leavers swept the Austin Music Awards, and his 2019 album, What It Is, debuted in the Top 5 on Billboard's Rock, Country, and Americana charts.
