Active since 1987, Joseph Arthur is known for songs such as “Honey and the Moon,” “In the Sun,” “A Smile That Explodes,” and “Could We Survive,” blending alternative rock, folk rock, and indie influences into a distinctive and emotionally resonant sound. With more than 105,000 listeners across Spotify and other streaming platforms, Arthur first gained major recognition after being discovered by Peter Gabriel, who signed him to his label, Real World Records, in the 1990s.

Over the years, Arthur has toured with artists such as Tracy Chapman and collaborated with musicians including Marley Munroe and Morgan James. His work has earned praise from critics at AllMusic, Entertainment Weekly, Rolling Stone, and Stylus Magazine. Among his accolades, Arthur has also received a nomination for a Grammy Award.
