The Lincolnville Museum and Cultural Center welcomes Marcus Click on Thursday, June 15, 2023, from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.

Exemplary military veteran and saxophonist Marcus Click releases unforgettable music inspired by his triumphs and realizations.

Listening to original and expressive musicians such as Kirk Whalum and George Howard, Click's desire to enter the jazz arena grew. His mellow and sophisticated style caught the attention of Rebbie Jackson, Janet Jackson's sister, and musicians such as Nelson Rangell and Grammy Award Nominee Mel Holder.

Click's album Movin' acquired praise from Smooth Jazz stations and topped the Billboard charts in the first week.

His new album Brand New Day includes collective works from award-winning musicians such as Ben Parris, Juno, and Roger Ryan.

In celebration of Juneteenth (a federal holiday that celebrates the emancipation of Black people from slavery in the United States), the Lincolnville Museum and Cultural Center is hosting a series of community events.
