Artist Martha Ferguson painting at an easel

Artist Martha Ferguson discusses and presents the fundamentals of figure drawing, and follows that up with quick-drawing exercises for the participants. You will focus on each sculpture for five minutes, and then rotate through the space to focus on additional sculptures. After that, you will focus on one sculpture for a time. The goal is for each participating artist to study form, proportion, and movement and develop techniques in figure drawing.

The museum offers light refreshments during the break. You may only bring water in a closed bottle into the museum.

About Martha Ferguson

Ferguson primarily paints in oil and specializes in plein air painting of street scenes. She moved to St. Augustine in 2014 after living in New Jersey for over 30 years, and now spends as much time as possible painting outside. The Grand Bohemian Art Gallery offers her paintings
