On Saturday, November 22, 2025, from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Lullaby of the Rivers hosts a free pop-up festival on the grounds of the Limelight Theater. This Lullaby of the Rivers Expo focuses on our natural environment, not the upcoming holidays, so no holiday lights and no Santa—just fun for the family.

Local musicians, storytellers, and young performers offer entertainment the whole family can enjoy on an outdoor stage.

Several local clubs and organizations offer exhibits and programs to educate families about Florida's natural environment. Learn about the vast network of rivers and the small honeybees that pollinate our plants and let us enjoy their honey. Enjoy the workshops and activities, including making and learning to use bamboo river sticks. Eat food from several vendors on site, and shop the nature-inspired local products for your home and gifts.

More About River Sticks

These bamboo poles can be decorated and used as journey sticks, with words, feathers, and painted figures showing where you've been. They also have more prosaic tasks, such as a hiking stick, to clear cobwebs on the trail, help keep your balance on rough terrain, push your boat off the shore, and scare wild critters.
