The Ponte Vedra Concert Hall welcomes singer-songwriter Madeleine Peyroux on Tuesday, September 22, 2026, at 8:00 p.m. Doors open at 6:30 p.m.

Known for captivating interpretations of songs like “Dance Me to the End of Love,” “La Vie En Rose,” “Don’t Wait Too Long,” “Smile,” and “Half the Perfect World,” Madeleine Peyroux has built a celebrated career blending jazz, pop, and timeless vocal stylings. Born in Athens and raised between New York and California, Peyroux emerged onto the music scene in the 1990s after being discovered by an Atlantic Records talent scout, leading to the release of her acclaimed debut album Dreamland.

Praised by publications including The New York Times for a voice reminiscent of legendary performers such as Billie Holiday, Édith Piaf, and Ella Fitzgerald, Peyroux brings new life to classic standards and vintage jazz favorites. Her repertoire often pays tribute to iconic artists, including Bessie Smith, Billie Holiday, and Fats Waller, while showcasing her own distinctive artistry and emotional depth.

Throughout her career, Peyroux has collaborated with acclaimed musicians such as Vernon Reid, James Carter, and Cyrus Chestnut, further cementing her reputation as one of contemporary jazz’s most expressive and sophisticated vocalists. Her achievements include winning a BBC Jazz Award in 2006.

Peyroux's discography includes Dreamland, Careless Love, Bare Bones, Standing on the Rooftop, The Blue Room, Secular Hymns, Anthem, and her most recent album, Let's Walk.

Local Box Office: As of August 1, 2025, the Ponte Vedra Concert Hall box office is open from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., seven days a week, and they sell tickets to performances at PVCH and the St. Augustine Amphitheatre.
