Labor Day Weekend Plein Air Paint Out

The St. Augustine Art Association hosts a Labor Day Weekend Plein Air Paint Out on Friday, September 4, 2026, and Saturday, September 5, 2026, at various locations throughout town.

This free event invites artists to paint en plein air around St. Augustine on Labor Day weekend. This practice, a French term meaning "in the open air," involves artists painting outdoors directly from the landscape. Artists must be registered and must check in to paint. You can enjoy watching artists throughout town while you're out exploring.

Admission: Free (Artists must register online.)

When: Friday, September 4, 2026, from 11:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. and on Saturday, September 5, 2026, from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Where: Various locations throughout town.
