On November 10 2023, at 10:00 a.m., the St. Augustine Lighthouse and Maritime Museum hosts a ceremony to mark the opening of the military honor plaza. During World War II, the St. Augustine Light Station served as a United States Coast Guard station. To honor that military heritage, the museum is opening the Military Honor Plaza featuring commemorative bricks honoring the nation's Armed Forces members.
Admission: Free. Guests are asked to RSVP by Monday, November 6, 2023 at 5 p.m. using this link.
When: 10:00 a.m. November 10, 2023.
Where: The St. Augustine Lighthouse and Museum, at 100 Red Cox Road on Anastasia Island.
