Military Veteran Fishing: Knot Tying
Military Veterans can learn about nets and traps at this event.
Hosted by SJC Parks and Recreation, the Military Veteran Fishing session will occur on Wednesday, May 24, 2023, from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., at the Usina Boat Ramp Pavilion.
This two-hour course is free and available only to U.S. military veterans. The class consists of hands-on activities regarding the various nets and traps that can be used for fishing. While encouraged to bring your own equipment, gear will be provided if needed.
Participants are required to have a valid shoreline saltwater fishing license for this class or fall under the exempt criteria determined by the FWC. To find more information on the license, please visit here, or call (904) 209-0335.
