Military Veteran Kayaking - Moultrie Creek

The St. Johns County Parks and Recreation Department hosts a guided kayak tour for military veterans on Moultrie Creek on Thursday, March 12, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. 

This beautiful paddle along the Moultrie Creek marsh ecosystem is a nature lover's delight. Participants will learn about the flora and fauna, as well as the history of this unique waterway that runs into the Intracoastal Waterway. The creek was named after General John Moultrie, Florida's governor in 1777, when the Moultrie Creek area was a thriving community. This guided kayak trip explores East Creek and the saltwater marsh of Moultrie Creek.

Admission: Admission is free and open to military veterans. Participants must register online to secure a spot. 

When: Thursday, March 12, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. 

Where: The Moultrie Creek Boat Ramp, 4805 Shore Drive, St. Augustine, Florida 32086.
