Night Market at St. Augustine Alligator Farm

On select days throughout the year, the St. Augustine Alligator Farm and Zoological Park opens in the evening for a Night Market. The events often benefit an animal-focused preservation foundation. Local artists and craftsperson show their wares, the Toucantina opens to offer a limited menu of their snacks and beverages (including beer and wine).

In May, September, and December, the Alligator farm hosts a Night Market, with vendors dispersed along the paths of the farm. Portions of the Alligator Farm are fully open, so you can visit some of the farm's residents, support the farm's programs, and shop for gifts, home decor, and art. The market in December, the "Jingle Bell Crock" Holiday Market, offers a fun and relaxing way to search for holiday gifts. 

Admission: $10.00 per person, in cash only.

Conservation and Research

The St. Augustine Alligator Farm and Zoological Park works with other North American zoos and aquariums in the Species Survival Program. That program manages the breeding of select species so the population is genetically diverse. The St. Augustine Alligator Farm and Zoological Park also works with other zoos and organizations so that species survive. In 2025, funds from the Night Marketed supported the Reptile Preservation Institute and the Alligator Farm Foundation.

A Note about the Alligator Farm

The Alligator Farm is open daily from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. In the summer, their hours extend to 6:00 p.m. This is one of the attractions that is open 365 days a year. Since they have to feed and care for the animals every day, they open every day to allow visitors.
