
Romanza Festivale: Author Visit with Trish MacEnulty
Trish MacEnulty, author of the investigation series featuring the characters Delafield & Malloy, will talk with fans and writers at the Voorhees Mission building at St. Cyprians Episcopal Church on Friday, May 5, 2023, from 3:00 to 4:00 p.m.
A former history professor of English, Trish MacEnulty is originally from Jacksonville and has written memoirs, historical fiction, and other works. In addition to her own writing, Dr. MacEnulty writes book reviews and feature articles for the Historical Novel Review.
Book 2 of the Delafield & Malloy series, The Burning Bride, uses St. Augustine as a setting, in which the protagionist Louisa Delafield confronts an anarchist, alligators, and a fire. The other books in the series are The Whispering Women (book 1) and Secrets and Spies (book 3). Her most well-known memoir is The Hummingbird Kiss: My LIfe as an Addict in the 70s.

This event is part of the Romanza Festivale of Music and the Arts, an annual festival consisting of two weeks of historical, cultural and creative events celebrating all things St. Augustine.
