The St. Augustine Amphitheatre welcomes Squeeze on Tuesday, August 18, 2026, at 6:00 p.m. Doors open at 4:30 p.m.

Formed in 1974, Squeeze is known for hits such as “Tempted,” “Up the Junction,” “Cool for Cats,” “Pulling Muscles (From the Shell),” and “Another Nail in My Heart.” Blending new wave, pop rock, power pop, and punk influences, the band’s lineup includes Glenn Tilbrook, Chris Difford, Stephen Large, Simon Hanson, Steve Smith, Melvin Duffy, Owen Biddle, and Danica Dora.

Drawing inspiration from legendary artists including The Beatles, David Bowie, Elvis Costello, Jimi Hendrix, Ramones, The Rolling Stones, and Lou Reed, Squeeze developed a distinctive sound all their own. Often associated with the “second British Invasion,” the band took its name in admiration of The Velvet Underground’s album Squeeze. After first signing with BTM Records, Squeeze went on to tour extensively across Europe, the United States, and Canada.

Their discography includes Squeeze, Cool for Cats, Argybargy, East Side Story, Sweets from a Stranger, Difford & Tilbrook, Così Fan Tutti Frutti, Babylon and On, Frank, Play, Some Fantastic Place, Ridiculous, Domino, Spot the Difference, Cradle to the Grave, The Knowledge, and their most recent album, Trixies.

Adam Ant and Haircut 100 will also perform at this event.
