St. Augustine Film Society: Return to Seoul Screening

On Sunday, June 25 at 7:00 p.m. at the Temple Bet Yam in St Augustine, FL, the St. Augustine Film Society will host a screening of Return to Seoul (2022).

Written and directed by Davy Chou (of Diamond Island fame), this film follows a young French woman named Freddie who returns to her birth country of South Korea in a desperate bid to discover her origins. Now a 25 year old arms dealer, Freddie is hesitant to admit just how desperate she is to meet her biological parents. The film follows her throughout several years of her life, in which she grapples with intrinsic and extrinsic conflicts.

Admission: $8.00 for non-members of the St. Augustine Film Society. Members are free.
