The St. Augustine Film Society presents a showing of the documentary, Telling Amy's Story (2010), on Wednesday, October 14, 2026, at 6:00 p.m. at The Waterworks.
Focused on Amy McGee's domestic violence homicide that occurred on November 8, 2001, in Central Pennsylvania, this documentary dives deeper into what led to her tragic death. Produced by Penn State Public Broadcasting and featuring activist Mariska Hargitay and detective Deirdri Fishel, the work hopes to bring awareness to domestic abuse and preventing it in the future.
Admission: $10.00 for the public. Students and St. Augustine Film Society members are free.

Getting there: While the address is 184 San Marco Avenue, the only driveway on San Marco is Exit Only. Access to the Waterworks is through the St. Johns County Main Library parking lot. (Use 1960 North Ponce de Leon in your GPS.) Coming from the south, you can turn into the driveway closest to the Waterworks, north of the Library.
