Tactical Elite presents the St. Johns Family Festival on Saturday, August 27, and Sunday, August 28, 2016. This new-to-town festival promises family fun that won't break the bank, offering activities for kids of all ages including bounce houses, rides, slides, games, shopping, festival food, and live music. For $5, kids can play all day on the bounce houses; other attractions are at an additional cost.

Vendors from around the state will be on site to sell art, crafts, jewelry, and more. There will also be a food court featuring regional vendors serving breakfast, lunch, dinner, and desserts. Covered seating will be available in the main tent area near the stage, where local bands will perform.

In addition to the festival, the Tactical Elite Warrior Challenge will be open to ages 16 and up. This non-timed event features a challenging mud run and a series of obstacles. Awards will be presented to the "Muddiest Racer," among other categories. Individuals may register for $75, or teams of five may register for $275.

A portion of this family festival's proceeds will benefit a local charity called Brave Aid, whose mission is to support our nation's wounded veterans.

Admission: FREE admission to the festival. There is a parking charge of $10 per vehicle - cash only.

When: Saturday, August 27, and Sunday, August 28, 2016, from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.

Where: The St. Augustine Flea Market is located at 2495 S.R. 207 in St. Augustine, Florida 32086.
