On Friday, February 19, 2016, Ponte Vedra Concert Hall presents St. Paul and the Broken Bones.

This Birmingham, Alabama-based sextet brings their powerful, electric soul to Ponte Vedra to promote the release of their full length debut, Half the City, which was produced by Ben Tanner of Alabama Shakes. Half the City was recorded in legendary Muscle Shoals, Alabama, but goes far beyond simply harkening back to the city's R&B roots.

Front man Paul Janeway was raised on a strict diet of gospel music, and was encouraged to pick up the guitar by his church's pastor. The band pulls from both secular and Gospel influences alike. The result is scintillating and melodious, but rhythmically tight Alabama soul that recalls the past but rockets into the future.
