The St. Augustine Waterworks hosts a Liar's Contest at the Waterworks in St. Augustine on Sunday, February 18, 2024, at 2:00 p.m.

Hosted by Pat Nease, an active member of the Tale Tellers of St. Augustine and an accomplished liar, the contest promises to offer diverting entertainment and the opportunity for audience members to tell their stories. Those who want to share their tall tale (AKA pack of lies) can sign up on the day of the show. The best liars will receive a prize.

The Tale Tellers of St. Augustine was formed in 1993 by local storytelling enthusiasts. Their mission is to pass on and enhance the art of storytelling. With more than 30 members, this group seeks to revive storytelling as an art form and social means of communication through their many showcases.

Admission: $10.00 per person. For more information and to purchase tickets, go here.

When: Sunday, February 18, 2024, beginning at 2:00 p.m.
