Wong Kar-Wai Mini Film Festival: Chungking Express

During the last weekend in January, the St. Augustine Film Society presents two films by Wong Kar-Wai, Chungking Express on January 27 and In the Mood for Love on January 29, 2023

On Friday, January 27 at 7:00 p.m., they will present Chungking Express at the Waterworks on San Marco Ave. On Sunday, January 29, also at 7:00 p.m., they will present in The Mood For Love at Temple Bet Yam, at 2055 Wildwood Drive. 

Written and directed by Wong Kar-Wai, and released in 1994, Chungking Express is both a crime drama and a romantic comedy that tells two stories about lovesick police officers. Filmmaker Jim Gilmore will lead a discussion about this movie and will also lead the discussion on Sunday for the showing of In the Mood for Love.

Admission: Free to members of the St. Augustine Film Society. There is an $8.00 fee for non-members.
