(904) 54-9524 During the last weekend in January, the St. Augustine Film Society presents two films by Wong Kar-Wai, Chungking Express on January 27 and In the Mood for Love on January 29, 2023
On Friday, January 27 at 7:00 p.m., they will present Chungking Express at the Waterworks on San Marco Ave. On Sunday, January 29, also at 7:00 p.m., they will present in The Mood For Love at Temple Bet Yam, at 2055 Wildwood Drive.
Written and directed by Wong Kar-Wai, and released in 2000, In the Mood for Love was shown at the Cannes Film Festival and has been accliamed as both on of the world's best films. Filmmaker Jim Gilmore will lead a discussion about this movie and will also lead the discussion on Friday for the showing of Chungking Express.
Admission: Free to members of the St. Augustine Film Society. There is an $8.00 fee for non-members.
