Words and Music Series: Vivace Trio

The Vivace Trio present their music as part of the St. Augustine Waterworks "Words and Music Series" on Thursday, April 6, 2023, from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. This performance is presented by EMMA Concerts.

This trio of two flutists and a pianist, one adding a soprano voice to the ensemble, creates a unique sound in which the whole is greater than the sum of the very talented parts.

Flutist and singer Carolyn Snyder Menke, originally from Chicago, has studied extensively in both voice and flute, sung in a number of operas, and performed with a variety of orchestras.

Gia Sastre, classical flutist, has performed for many years as a free-lance soloist, orchestral player, and chamber musician. A founding member of JAX Flutes, Ms. Sastre holds a Master's of Music in Flute Performance.

Pianist, Denise Wright is a highly regarded collaborative pianist. Originally from Jacksonville, she returned to North Florida in 1991 and is on the staff of the University of North Florida.
