This fresh take on the classic tale of "Cinderella" combines contemporary dance genres with classical ballet.

  • Zoika's Dance presents "Cinderella," on Wednesday, June 8, 2022 for two performances, 2:00 p.m and 7:00 p.m. This fresh take on the well-known classic includes performances by both student and professional dancers across a number of dance genres: classical ballet, ballroom dance, jazz, tap, and hip hop.

    Annabelle Hucke and Jake Kareger, local dancing students, will portray Cinderella and the Prince. Amaani Grant, a professional dancer in hip hop, tap, and contemporary dance; Alex Rubio and Christie Woodson, tap dancing professionals; and Kathering DeAcutis and Jenne Vermes, hip hop and contemporary dancers will join the young cast for this performances. In addition. local ballroom dancer and actor, Christina Cruz will portray Cinderella's stepmother, and the King and Queen will be portrayed by St. Augustine performers, dancers, and musicians, Tommy Bledsoe and Joy D'Elia.

    Admission: Tickets range from $20.00 to $30.00 and can be purchased by going here.
