Danny Boy Patnode
Danny Patnode has been writing his own songs since he was 9 years old. He attended college at SUNY Plattsburgh and Paul Smith’s, where he studied fine arts, theater, music, and the hotel and restaurant business. Music was all over the Patnode household in Lake Placid, New York, when Danny was growing up, whether it was singing or playing musical instruments. The Irish influence came from his mother. After she would put her children to bed, she would sing old classic Irish songs in the kitchen, unaware that her children were listening to her the whole time.
Today, Danny sings with all the love and passion his mother sang with all those years ago. His catchphrase is, “Get your Irish up!”
