The seeds of the group that became the North Florida Taildraggers were first planted at a conference. The story goes that Trey Brewer and a handful of other Northeast Florida musicians attended a conference held by the International Bluegrass Musicians Association and had a great time. Afterward, they wanted to keep the fun and music going, so they started a regular Monday night jam session.

Bluegrass jam sessions tend to grow into bands, and — since Trey Brewer is a pilot and a jam session or two may have been held in a hangar — this band became the North Florida Taildraggers.

Originally from California, Corey Thomas started playing piano when he was six, picked up a guitar as a preteen, and began to listen to YouTube, learning to play the music by ear. 

Zalongo is an electrifying alternative rock band carving out a unique niche in the local music scene by shattering the stereotypical seriousness of other metal bands. They defy expectations with a humorous and unpredictable stage presence, blending a paradox of harsh noise and complex compositions.

Dion & Collins — Dave Dion and Tim Collins — are music teachers from Palatka who are developing a fan base in St. Augustine with their high-energy shows.

They perform frequently as a duo and occasionally as a trio with accordionist Robby O. Their show features rock 'n roll music played on two acoustic guitars. Both musicians sing and have mad guitar skills, so their guitar solos are not to be missed.

Their covers include songs recorded by The Police, Overkill, Candlebox, The Doobie Brothers, and older favorites such as "Fly Me to the Moon" by Bart Howard.

An energetic quartet with irresistible chemistry, Swell features the talents of four remarkable artists: Sailor Jane on vocals, Jim Johnston on guitar, Phillip Pan on violin, and Dorian "Papi Disco" Lopez on percussion. They offer well-crafted originals and a mix of classic and contemporary hits from various genres.

Lauris Vidal connects with his audience through his infectious onstage charisma. The folk artist and Ormond Beach native infuses emotional depth and energy into every performance. Ever dedicated to his craft, Vidal becomes a one-man band, playing multiple homemade instruments during his shows.

Lauris Vidal's influences include folk, blues, and indie rock. He channels these styles into a sound he calls "kitchen sink beat blues." Behind his custom drum setup, Vidal showcases his mastery of guitar, tenor banjo, ukulele, and the lap steel guitar.

His parents' love for music inspired Luis Mario Peral to begin his musical journey at a young age. His ear for melody and his knack for composition led him to write music for renowned performers such as "The Queen of Salsa" Celia Cruz and Oscar D'Leon. Peral continues to create Latin jazz compositions, spanning genres such as Bolero, Rumba, Cha-chas, Merengue, and Salsa.
