W.E. Harris Community Center is a central place for Hastings residents to gather. A wide assortment of programs are available for adults and children year-round.

After-school programs, for ages five to 12 years old, are offered on weekdays only. This gives children the opportunity to socialize and participate in clubs.

There is an open basketball gym Monday through Thursday, for children ages 13 to 16, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Weightlifting is Monday through Thursday, from 5:00 to 7:30 p.m.

The Players Community Senior Center provides a friendly atmosphere, social engagements, and various activities for seniors.

Events held at this facility range from exercise classes and DIY sessions to recreational activities and classes. Dining opportunities are also available. Call (904) 280-3233 for more information.
