Born in New Mexico, he was a professional bull-rider when still in his teens, and first played music in public after the rodeos were over for the day, and only for his fellow rodeo friends. Ultimately, he played more music and rode fewer bulls, traveling from town to town and venue to venue, before ending up in Los Angeles.

Artist Noah Kahan posing against a minimalist backdrop, framed by a red circle spotlight

Noah Kahan

An emotionally rich blend of folk and pop, with heartfelt lyrics and a raspy baritone.

Noah Kahan's music occupies a sweet spot between folk and pop. Creating a warm and intimate feel, the backbone of many of Kahan's songs is his acoustic sound. While Kahan's music is defined by a warm, emotionally driven, and infectious rhythm (think banjo and acoustic guitar), he injects depth with occasional flourishes of indie and alternative rock.
