Florida Water Tours

Florida Water Tours offers a variety of tours on St. Augustine's beautiful waterways, including family-friendly outings, adults-only cruises, and themed and seasonal cruises.

Tours are available daily. You can enjoy time on the water and learn more about St. Augustine on several cruises, such as the Dolphin and Wildlife Adventure, Sunset Cruise, and Wine Tasting Cruise. Florida Water Tours also offers private tours for larger groups and private events. Florida Water Tours is located at Camachee Cove Yacht Harbor, a short distance from St. Augustine's historic district, and offers free parking.

The Boats

Florida Water Tours operates three vessels for group tours and a smaller boat for private charters for up to six passengers. You can also hire one of their large boats for a private event.

• The Great Blue Heron is the newest member of the fleet. Customized to fit the needs of Florida Water Tours, this Florida-built 47-foot catamaran can take up to 49 passengers out for dolphin tours and sunset cruises. There is a large outdoor deck and a cabin area that can be enclosed during chilly weather. With a sound system, a central counter for bar and food, and an onboard restroom, the Great Blue Heron is also a great boat to rent for private parties.
• The Osprey is a 45-foot pontoon boat that is certified for 38 passengers. A restroom is available on board, and most of the boat deck is fully enclosed and shaded. There is also a bar on board where guests may purchase mimosas, beer, wine, and canned cocktails.
• The Island Breeze is a 30-foot pontoon boat, certified for 24 passengers. It's fully enclosed and has a restroom on board. You are invited to bring your chosen beverages aboard for the cruise.

The Daily Tours

Florida Water Tours operates six days a week, Wednesday through Monday, and offers multiple tours on most days. It's easy to learn which tours are available, whether the tour is adults-only or family-friendly, and which boat will be used for a particular tour — see the "Booking Calendar" on their website.

Dolphin and Wildlife Adventure cruises are available daily for guests of all ages. These 90-minute tours explore St. Augustine's natural and historic beauty while the boat's crew and passengers scan the water's surface for signs of dolphins. Suitable for all ages, the Osprey and the Island Breeze operate on this cruise.

Florida Water Tours also offers daily Sunset Cruises aboard each boat:

• You can purchase soft drinks, beer, wine, and canned cocktails at the onboard bar on the Osprey - these cruises are for ages 21+.
• You may bring your own beverage aboard the Island Breeze - these cruises are family-friendly and suitable for all ages.

Themed Tours

The Wine Tasting Cruise is an evening on the water, and an invitation to taste six wines, including local ones. Cruise for 90 minutes, passing along St. Augustine's historic bayfront, savour the view, the wines, and tasty bites from your personal charcuterie cone. Chat with friends or listen to the captain's narration about the area's history and wildlife. Wine-tasting cruises take place on Thursdays through Sundays.  

The adults-only, two-hour Brunch & Bottlenose Cruise aboard The Osprey includes one mimosa and a boxed brunch for each guest. You may purchase additional beverages from the onboard bar, which offers beer, wine, sangria, and canned cocktails. The tour travels past St. Augustine's waterfront sites, while guides discuss the dolphins who frolic in these waters.

Seasonal Tours

Florida Water Tours offers a Fourth of July Fireworks Cruise on both cruise boats. Book it in advance, because they sell out early. 

A fun tour geared toward adults, the 75-minute Moonlit Mysteries: Haunted History Boat Tour departs near sunset (somewhere between 6:30 to 9:30 p.m., depending on the season). The crew shares haunting tales and spooky happenings in the oldest city. You may purchase drinks from the bar on board. This seasonal cruise takes place on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday nights, from September 13, 2025, through November 14, 2025.

Be Happy! on a Reggae Sunset Cruise, featuring DJ Raggamuffin and his island vibes. This 90-minute seasonal cruise takes place every Sunday in September, at 6:45 p.m. on September 7, 14, and 21, and at 6:15 p.m. on the 28th. Watch the sunset, keep a lookout for dolphins, and move to the beat. 

St. Augustine's Nights of Lights is a magnificent sight from land, and it's even more spectacular and romantic from the water. Florida Water Tours offers nightly tours aboard their fleet through the Nights of Lights season, from November 15, 2025, through January 11, 2026. (They are closed on Christmas Day.) Private Tours

In addition to daily public tours, Florida Water Tours offers private charters. These special private cruises are perfect for birthday and bachelorette parties, family reunions, anniversaries, and small weddings. Private charters can be booked on any of the four boats.

Florida Water Warriors

At Florida Water Tours, a percentage of every ticket purchased is donated to Florida Water Warriors, an educational program for underserved young people. Every Florida Water Warriors tour provides water and wildlife education, so young minds can develop a greater interest in marine wildlife, nature, and conservation. Summer Fun Science Boat Tours

On select Sundays during the summer, Florida Water Warriors offers a 90-minute science cruise. No matter your age, you can watch for wildlife, test the water quality, and help Florida Water Warriors collect data. 100% of the ticket proceeds go to the non-profit Florida Water Warriors, so their educational school trips are affordable for every kid. 

In 2025, the tours leave the dock at 10:30 a.m. on Sundays, June 22 and 29, and July 13 and 27. Tickets are $16.00 for children and $24.00 for adults.

Reminders — Things to Know When Booking a Tour

• Please arrive 15 minutes before departure time.
• There is free parking at the marina. (The parking lot fills up quickly on holidays and weekends, so guests are encouraged to carpool or arrive early.)
• Want a more substantial snack? You can pre-order a Graze Box before any tour and pick it up at the ticket office before embarking. There are several sizes and varieties, including a charcuterie box for two to four people, and a date night dessert that serves two.
