Light, Color, and Imagination
The James Coleman Signature Gallery brings a sense of wonder to St. Augustine’s art scene. The gallery is home to the luminous landscapes of James Coleman, a former Disney background artist whose work captures the soft glows of twilight, tropical settings, and wildlife scenes. The gallery also represents more than a dozen highly renowned and internationally collected fine artists from all over the world.
Known for his colorful palette and cinematic flair, Coleman’s work blends traditional technique with the fantastical. Gallery visitors find dreamy seascapes, forests, and peaceful nature scenes, many painted with a signature light source. They can also purchase original paintings and sculptures, as well as custom commissioned works. The gallery's location on King Street makes it an easy stop for visitors looking to add a little art exploration to their visit to the Oldest City.
Fine Jewelry
A collection of fine jewelry by Frank Reubel Designs, along with Nagalle Designs, and jewelry designed by Steven Douglas are also hosted in the Gallery. The James Coleman Gallery is adjacent to the lobby of the historic Casa Monica Resort & Spa.
Community Engagement
James Coleman Signature Gallery and Georgia Nick Gallery actively participates in the local art community, including the monthly First Friday Art Walk. During these events, visitors are invited to browse new works and meet with staff and artists during the gallery's extended hours to foster appreciation for the arts. They also host monthly events featuring live painting and sculpting from their team of artists.
