The Oldest House Museum Complex offers guided tours, two museums, a colonial kitchen, and an ornamental garden. Tours of the main museum are conducted every half-hour providing guests an overview of St. Augustine's culture and history by discussing the Oldest House residents.

Also known as the Gonzalez-Alvarez House, and now owned and operated by the St. Augustine Historical Society, this is the oldest surviving Spanish colonial residence in Florida.

In addition to the tour of the main home, the museum shows five centuries of Florida coastal maps, a museum detailing St. Augustine's founding through the 20th century, a replica kitchen, and gardens featuring the native Muscadine grape. Special exhibits are offered throughout the year, featuring photography, furniture, clothing, and other historic artifacts.

Finally, the Oldest House Museum Complex is the home of the St. Augustine Surf Culture and History Museum. St. Augustine's contribution to the surfing culture of the 20th century includes award-winning surfers and several board manufacturers.

The museum is open daily from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
