Unlike any other village, Shantytown Village is a beautiful seven-acre former oyster farm. Its rustic buildings are now a local artisan market featuring more than 30 local businesses, craftspeople, and vendors. Visitors can enjoy the different shanties while hunting for unique souvenirs or local eggs, cheeses, and vegetables to bring back to their vacation homes.
Shantytown also hosts live entertainment and various events throughout the year.
