St. Augustine Sailing: Weddings on the Water

St. Augustine Sailing offers wedding packages that can be customized to suit couples who wish to celebrate their wedding aboard a sailboat in St. Augustine waters.

Each wedding package at St. Augustine Sailing includes one visit and consultation with the event planner, use of their bridal suite for a half-hour, and (to take some of the stress out of the day) inclement weather options. Each of these three unique wedding packages include two hours for the ceremony and celebration.

• Couples can choose to hold their ceremony aboard a sailboat underway in the Matanzas River. The Anchor Knot package includes an intimate ceremony with only the officiant and bridal couple, or with up to eight special friends or family members. The crew offers each couple a choice of a backgound that includes the St. Augustine bayfront, the St. Augustine Lighthouse, or the open water. St. Augustine Sailing will provide a small bouquet and boutonniere, as well as sparkling wine and cake for ten people.
• The Lover's Knot package offers a two-hour ceremony and celebration for up to 20 persons, aboard a sailing yacht floating in a slip at Camachee Yacht Harbor. In addition to the officiant, small bouquet, and boutonniere, St. Augustine Sailing provides a charcuterie board sparkling wine, beer, wine, and wedding cake for up to 20 people (including the bride and groom.)
• Those anticipating a larger wedding, may opt for the Marriage Knot package with a two-hour relaxed ceremony and celebration on a sailing yacht at the dock for a total of 30 people, including the bride and groom. St. Augustine sailing provides the bouquet and boutonniere, plus hors d'oeuvres, cake, sparkling wine, and beer and wine for up to 30 guests.

Couples may customize each wedding package by adding a photographer, personal chef, a lengthier sail, and a wedding night on board the sailboat. In addition to the wedding packages, St. Augustine Sailing helps future grooms or brides create special and memorable proposal cruises.
