The Cathedral Basilica of St. Augustine will host its Second Annual Benefit Gala on May 31, 2014. The event, "Roaring Twenties" themed, begins at 7 p.m. and will benefit the Rejoice and Restore Campaign.

Hosted by Bishop Felipe Estévez, the gala will include a silent auction, live jazz music, and a large array of historically significant artifacts. Hors d'oeuvres and specialty cocktails will be served at the event for every guest's pleasure. Required attire consists of 1920's inspired fashion.

The Rejoice and Restore Campaign was founded to help raise necessary funds towards renovations to America's First Parish. Future projects include additions to the Cathedral's organ, minor renovations on the main sanctuary, repairing water damage, and many others. The last major renovation occurred in the 1960's, but with this campaign the Cathedral hopes to complete new constructions by 2015.
